We had portraits taken today. I love that Georgia and Noah look like such little angels in this picture. You would never know that they were acting like complete lunatics before and after. And Sam just looks like, "Dude, are we done yet?"
Noah, rolling around on my bed, using my bra as a pillow. He thought it was hysterical....it was really.
A yellow watermelon. Never saw or had one before, but it was very tasty. And the kids thought it was super-cool.
I was originally trying to take a picture of the song title on my iPod at the time. But right when I snapped it, the backlight went dark. I think this turned out pretty cool.
My baby sling is a lifesaver. I would not get through most meals without it, certainly not through the dinner time crazies. I love this thing.

Art projects are all the rage in our house. Today I purchased many, many beads so we can make many, many bracelets and necklaces. Countless hours of entertainment are depicted above.
So Alex's parents have this 6 foot statue in their entryway. Noah was terrified of it, so much that he would start shaking in the elevator. But he was much better after it turned into "the silly general."
Because only in South Florida could you find a tricked out, fuschia Infinity with giant spinners.
Got to catch up with an old and very dear friend, Sompa. We met up at the mall, watched our kids play, and gossiped about everything. It was a great few hours.....I so wish she lived closer.
My blog.....let's just say the poo hit the fan. And it made quite a smelly mess.
This was the fist time I met my 8 month old nephew. Yes, this baby is only 8 months old!! I swear he is almost as big as Noah. But there isn't much better than chubby baby cheeks and thighs!
About an hour into the flight Noah told Alex that he was tired. Alex simply told him to close his eyes, and he promptly passed out like this. It was amazing.
We are packed and ready to go to Florida. The kids got new backpacks for the trip so they can carry their own crap...at least in theory.
I went for my six-week post-partum appointment today. Everything is doing well. Hopefully I won't have to go back until my yearly appointment. =)
My driver's seat. I spend so much time here I am surprised that there is not a visible butt-print. I can not imagine how I will get all these kids to their various activities when they are in real school.
Took the dog to the vet and this was my total. 15 minutes, and $300 later we went home. I am in the wrong business....
We got new carpet today in our family room, playroom, and Alex's new office. We fell victim to the most successful jingle ever. But they were great, and the house looks awesome.
So I know it is a controversial subject, but all three of my kids have turned out to be belly-sleepers. Yeah, I know, SIDS research says out them on the back to sleep. But they sleep so much better, and reach milestones earlier when they are on their tummies. Plus Georgia and Sam both had reflux, and sleeping this way makes it feel better.
Today was a great day. We struggled all weekend with the kids and their table manners. But tonight we had a really nice dinner altogether at the kitchen table. Everyone behaved themselves, so we went out to the local ice cream shop afterwards. Georgia's face says it all!
Noah took this, obviously. I love the angle... right up the nostrils. At least his nose was clean that time!
This is Sam's fro in full effect. Noah had a little fuzzball head when he was an infant, too. But Sam's is so much darker and longer. This was freshly washed fro. I love it!
Georgia had her last day of pre-school for the year today. I was a homeroom mom this year. Her teachers gave me these adorable flowers to say thank you. I cried. I blame it on the hormones.
We went out to lunch today with a few Georgia's classmates. This is one of her favorite friends to play with. And I just love the pose!
Love, love, LOVE this show! It just started a few days ago, and I watched it on DVR tonight. It is in the audition phase, a la American Idol. But I did get some really good laughs out of it!
I drove back to our house tonight, on my own with the kids. Surprisingly, I had no traffic, which is pretty much unheard of for this area at the end of a beautiful Memorial Day weekend. I was stopped when I took this picture right as the light turned green to get on the Vine Street Expressway. It was a green light all the way home to bedtime.
We had a BBQ at my parents' house today and my brothers and sisters came over. This is Georgia, Noah and my niece Mallory. She is turning into such a little person right now, learning how to talk and run around like the older kids. It is such a fun stage. And they all played together for a while, which was really cute to see.
We went to the circus today with Georgia and Noah. It was a treat just for "big kids," and Sam stayed home with my parents'. It was a great show, and we had great seats. We were literally under the tight rope. Quite a few times we thought we might end up with an injured circus performer in our laps.
Sam got to meet his Great-Grandmom Kay (G.G.) today for the first time. I am not sure how much time he will get to spend with her, as she has been diagnosed with a very serious cancer. It was a beautiful moment to see her enjoying her newest great-grandchild. She held him, stared at him, and rocked him to sleep as she sang him some old standards from the 40's and 50's. I had a hard time holding it together.
